Natchez: A town of incredible wealth and power and devastating desolation. The highs and lows of the people here shaped, not only the 300 years of history in this town but also, the US and even international events. Who would have ever thought this sleepy, historic hamlet nestled on the gorgeous bluffs of the Mississippi River ever held so much power, prestige and, even darkness in its hands?

This walking tour of Natchez City Cemetery will take you on trails to the most popular sites and off the beaten path to discover the final resting spots of those who created some of Natchez's unbelievable history.
Please allow 1 1/2 to 2 hours to tour this award-winning cemetery. We recommend bringing a drink, wearing good shoes and considering a splash of "Eau-de-OFF."
Tours must be completed before dark in accordance with cemetery rules.
